Ahhh, thank you all! Thank you for caring what we’re up to. For coming through the stand through so many moments these past five years… for doing life with us.
Five years ago we opened on March 10th, just as Pasco County was shutting down for COVID. 16 people came by that first day. We had two baristas in the stand.
We’ve changed a lot to grow alongside your support. At first we didn’t even run the line - but y’all showed and we quickly started improving operations. There were early days when we were literally running post it notes inside to set on the bar with drink orders, then running back out.
We grew the team (the best part of White Duck). We purchased more equipment. We fine-tuned operations. We listened to podcasts and read interviews and attended conferences. We built and finessed processes for everything, measured the results, and made them better. Again and again. We still do that constantly; we are a work in progress.
And some things have NOT changed. We scrawl our core values across our walls and doors, and use them in conversation around the stands all the time. Those are tenants of how we approach life through and at White Duck. New faces, new addresses - but the same gently irreverent wholesome vibes.
Cheers to the first five years. Here’s to many more years… and addresses… and amazing people. An incredibly huge thank you to our team who make this place run, and make this a place you (and we) love. And again, thank YOU for all your support pushing us forward.

What a joy it’s been to get to know Nena! She is constant energy and kindness. Started with us as a Back of House, now making us all laugh until we cry, as a barista.

It’s birthday season!!! Today is Kayla’s birthday, this cool rocker who’s been a duck well over a year and can often be found viging to some Evanescene at our Moog and 19 location.
Kayla is a metal fan (and music in general) and a pretty stellar singer and guitarist herself! We’re better for having her around. :)
She’s off today enjoying her day, but catch her later this week to wish Kayla a happy belated!

This month it’s the White Duck Van in all its splendor, magically tugging along a White Duck balloon which we should probably figure out how to actually get made, since it’s kinda awesome. Aerodynamics mean nothing when imagination is in the driver’s seat. 🤩
The White Duck van has been rocking around West Central Florida helping anyone with a coffee program to set up, service, and maintain coffee equipment through our service arm! We’re also authorized resellers for several great manufacturers.
Pick up the March sticker at any stand while supplies last! Every month we partner with artists we think are cool to reimagine the duck in their style. It’s one of our favorite things!
IT’S CONNER’S BIRTHDAY TOMORROW (SATURDAY)
We adore this silly billy. Conner’s been family to the duck fam since well before we opened, and it’s a joy to see y’all get to know him daily too now.
Quick witted and boisterous, Conner will make you laugh and will probably be laughing too. He loves his momma, and cares a lot. But we also told him he couldn’t work here for YEARS before we eventually hired him. To keep him grounded, you know.
We’ve had the honor of traveling with Conner, and watching him grow up. It’s nice.
To top that all off, he recently hit a year at White Duck, so he earned his custom Funko (which matches him perfectly).
Happy almost-birthday, Conner. You’re super cool and were legitimately glad you’re a duck. 😎

Gabby is the coolest, and today’s her birthday.
She’s been with us since before we opened, and is a giant part of what White Duck is today. Her attention to detail, ability to see and hold it all in her mind simultaneously, and pure moxie are just part of what makes her brilliant.
Gabby was our first stand manager, and is now managing the new Little Duck stand. This week she and the other stand managers (hi Whittney and Kali!) attended the Women in Restaurant Leadership conference in Nashville. Growing and learning from VPs and C-suite women from brands with hundred of millions in annual sales… like Smoothie King, MOD Pizza, Buffalo Wild Wings, and more.
Gabby (and our other managers!) are strong, accomplished women successfully running high-volume stands, and that is WORK! We love every chance they get for further growth.
The birthday lady is also a mom to a brilliant little lady, Avah. Avah was the first Duckling born to one of our team members (there’ve been multiple since!!!), and we adore her. It’s been an honor to watch her grow up around us, and be a part of her life.
We’re constantly impressed by Gabby’s resilience, sharp mind, and determination. She sees things, and she understands. Lucky us.
tl:dr - it’s Gabby’s birthday and she’s awesome. We love her!

We’ve also got new ducks who’ve been training for a while but haven’t felt the full hustle of a White Duck line at its finest! Paired with OGs, we’re busting through lines like you know we do - but we expect to start fast and get even faster over the first couple weeks.
This stand was a *long* time coming. You joked and laughed with us along the way (and some of us even grumbled a bit, ha). We learned a lot getting here. THANK YOU. For your patience, for your trust, for you business, and for your friendship. This place works because YOU come by, and we are grateful every single day.
We’ve got big plans to grow from here, and we will have lots to reflect on over the next week, but first up: GET LITTLE DUCK FLAWLESS AND SMOOTH.
