BIG DUB, THANK YOU. For the 6th year in a row, YOU voted us Best Customer Service.
It's a honor we don't take lightly. Our approach to customer service stems from our first core value: "We care for others." We often use the language "seeing everyone as a whole person," which we intend to mean as recognizing that all of us, in any given moment, are a whirlwind of experiences.. ideas... happening... joys and struggles.
Practically, it means we try to connect a little more than taking your card and handing you your order. We don't close the window on you. We chat a little, even as we respect your time by being as quick as we can. We try to notice your new jacket, or check in on your pop (or your pup!) you were mentioning last week. We try to look up from the screen and see the person.
It's not easy. We, too, are each a whole person. Like you, some days each of us carry struggles into the stand you don't see. Sometimes we're on top of the world, or STRAIGHT CHILLIN. But we place value on community, and we find an existential importance in putting effort into connection, and empathy.
You voting us to that Best Customer Service each year feels like a little nod to the fact you see us in that effort (and appreciate it), and it's a warm feeling. Thanks.
On the topic of connection, these photos are from a couple of the moments lately we've been out and about in the community as a team. Putting away the portafilters to pal around.
We stopped by @cinema6movie (we're fans of that crew, a local family owned spot) to watch the new Wicked movie together. We also grabbed a bunch of seats at the @richeysuncoasttheatre to watch the Nutcracker, which one of our baristas (hi Brian!) was performing in. It's good to be together.

Andddd we’re getting down to the wire with Christmas only being 8 days away - HOW EXCITING... say hello to our Christmas Lotus!
A classic red and green holiday combo rocking the cranberry and tart apple vibes.
Rumor has it that with each Lotus you drink it gets a day closer to Christmas (we wouldn’t recommend drinking 8 lotuses in day though.)

C IS FOR COOKIE!
Or more specifically, *Cookie Monster Shake*. Named after our favorite cookie-loving friend (Cookie Monster, but also Frankie).
This shake is a flawless cookie experience: double cookie combo topped with whipped cream and a Blue White Mocha drizzle. Mmmmm. Delicious.
With winter break steadily approaching (last day for most of us being this coming Friday), this is a great option for the kiddos. But hey, it's a solid choice for the grown kiddos too.
You can order the Cookie Monster Shake (or any of our shakes) with espresso too for an added boost, it’ll just change the color a bit to a darker brown.
