SHOOT. How could he forget something that important?! Lil Tim sneaks into the kitchen to look for cookies... but dad must have already scarfed them down. Nada. Now what?

WAIT - stored in the microwave, he finds some Apple Cider Donuts and a Maple Brown Sugar Croissant. Sweet spiced apple cider paired with the essence of a cinnamon roll... baked in a buttery flaky crust.

An ideal snack for Santa’s evening jaunt across the earth.

He sets it out on a festive plate, and Lil Tim then falls asleep soundly, knowing there will be gifts from Santa under the tree when he wakes up.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT - OG LOCATION IS MOVING 12/22/25!
(Yep, in 11 days). Don`t worry - we won`t miss any open days.
STILL DRIVE-THRU ONLY.

We opened our OG location at 3561 US Hwy 19 (aka Moog + 19, or 54 + 19) almost 6 years ago in a 240 square foot building (40 sqft of which are a bathroom). People would literally drive in during construction and say "you shouldn`t build here, this parking lot is dead." We did it anyway, and trauma bonded with NPR / Holiday through the wild COVID years.

We are fanatics about our core values - the first of which is caring for others. You all have become friends and fam. Hopefully we treat you just as well. THANK YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN.

The OG building has always been a bit too small - but it`s well-loved and our team are wizards at making use of the space. That location has allowed us to grow to 3 stands now (more coming in 2026, shh). Our founders and all 3 managers live within 15 minutes of the OG stand - this community is home.

Early on we had a storage unit up the street for supplies... then two units... then a secret office in the back of the parking lot (we called it The Pond - where ducks hang out), and with the new stands, we needed still more space.

3535 US Hwy 19 was a bank for a long while, then a pharmacy, and then sat vacant for a year or two while we eyed it from next door. We`ve been remodeling it for the past 6 months., and it`s officially now White Duck HQ, plus Stand Manager Kali`s new stand.

We`ll close a early on Sunday Dec 21st, and open regular hours on Monday Dec 22nd in the new building. No missed days. Still drive-thru only. We`re not interested in building cafes, and love our local ones (we go to them ourselves). This building houses our offices, warehouse, and service tech workroom.

For us, White Duck Espresso is about more than some caffeine and dollars in our team`s pockets. It`s an opportunity to bring a little goodness to the place we live, and to connect with y`all. Thanks for growing with us. Cheers, and onward! ...

The wind rustled the fallen leaves softly outside the window of Clara’s home, creating a soothing atmosphere for her calm afternoon. The air inside was warm and thick with the scent of cinnamon and nutmeg. Clara wrapped her hands around a steaming hot Eggnog Latte, watching the swirl of foam and the sprinkle of nutmeg dance along the surface.

She had ordered it on a whim, on her recent trip to White Duck Espresso, lured by the holiday sign that promised “comfort in a cup.” The first sip was a hug - sweet eggnog mingling with rich espresso, creamy and spiced, warming her fingertips with the slightest touch.

She closed her eyes, letting the flavor carry her back to childhood - baking cookies in her grandmother’s kitchen. It was a comforting feeling. While her family lived out of state, she still felt their warmth through her memories.

Outside, the world was cold and still. Inside, she was exactly where she needed to be. ...

When was the last time you ACTUALLY ate a piece of fruitcake? What is the deal with these things? Are they decoration? Is everyone waiting until 5pm on Christmas Day and then divvying these things up among the fam and full on CONSUMING THEM!?

You know, you could likely even order a Lotus with those fruits. Blueberry Strawberry Kiwi... Pineapple? Sure, sign us up.

It’s snowing in Florida! Just look at those realistic emoji snowflakes, they are definitely real actual snow on your phone (don’t look too closely). Ok ok, let`s get to the main event.

Just like a snow globe, our *NEW* Snowflake Macchiato has toasty white chocolate and peppermint notes, AND it makes you feel as if you`re in your own Winter Wonderland. Promise.

And, to tie it all together, it’s topped with our limited Blue White Mocha drizzle to really give it that true winter feel. Ahhhh. Is there a chill in the air?

IT’S BLAKE’S BIRTHDAY!!!!

Blake has been at Little Duck since early this October. But long before then, there was a time he was a duck at our OG location!

Blake is very detail oriented and amazing with technology and computers. He left us for a bit to pursue his innovative career. Blake still attended our outings and team parties often when he was away. But shortly found his way back to us! (And we couldn’t be happier)

Blake is incredibly tech-savvy, creative, and takes the art of coffee and drink making seriously! After all, he is the creator of our Alien Attack and Nebula Lotus.

We love Blake, and are so grateful he is a part of our team. Thank you for making us better! Happy Birthday, Blake! ...

HAPPY SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY!

Hello from the Matthews family (left to right: Charley, Robyn, and Kyle), the White Duck Espresso founders - along with our long-time friend Josh Hanson.

White Duck had been a dream of Robyn`s for a long time. On Robyn and Kyle`s very first date (in 2004!) she mentioned wanting to start a coffee shop one day. We registered TheOriginalWhiteDuck.com on August 31, 2007 - and opened our doors in New Port Richey thirteen years later as the pandemic kicked into gear.

We love this place, and it`s not lost on us the beauty of the fact many of you do too. Thank you. There are three White Duck locations today, each that we`ve built from the ground up. The manager of each stand was in it while it was being built. Initials in the wet concrete. Chose the wall colors.

There`ve been a lot of lessons, and we sit with each of them to be even better the next time. We are a work in progress.

The whole "small business" thing can be interesting - we want you to come by because you feel like we give you the best possible experience for what we do. If you feel like Starbucks (or all the national chains coming in - sup) do it better, hey, run through there. Our focus isn`t on competition - it`s on being the absolute best at what WE do. Caring for others. Getting a brilliant, accurate drink to you fast every time you come. Art through creation.

We adore our crew. If you like White Duck, it`s the ducks you like. Who they are, their energy and conversation and creativity. We`ve got the best people around, led by the best managers around, and it`s an absolute honor and joy to build this place alongside them. The ducks have 100% been the best part of this business (and y`all 2nd).

The next few years are exciting for us - thoughtful continued growth (new locations!), continuing to give our team greater roles and experience in the community and involvement in the growth plans... maybe even this photo is a little hint of one thing coming. We`ll keep pouring back into Tampa Bay just as much as you pour into us, and we`re thankful. Cheers.

FIREPLACE MOCHA

You’re nestled in a cozy cabin in the woods. You came up just to get away from all the noise and live in peace for a couple days.

As the sun slowly sets behind the horizon the temperature goes with it... perhaps lighting a fire will help you warm up.

Wrapping yourself up in blankets, you sit in front of the fire and watch the flames dance. You feel content - more than you have in a while.
