The stickers are one of our favorite things we do. It’s fun every single month to see artists we love riff on White Duck in their style (like this month’s by Michelle Wolfe), and then actually get them printed and see y’all enjoy them as much as we do.
Sometimes we even catch them on the back of a car or a water bottle out in public… and that’s just a solid good moment right there.
Seriously - we’ll say it loud and often: THANK YOU for caring about who we are and what we’re about. We are building this place up with so much of our hearts and effort, and to feel seen and appreciated by you all means the world to us every day.
Making something you love is always worth it. But making something you love and seeing OTHERS love it too… it’s a nice feeling. We adore y’all.

these are just a smidgen of the gifts people have made and given to our team, which is surprising and so appreciated every time. yall are cool! we keep all these gifts and show them in our office and stands.
we work hard to see every person as a whole person, never just a transaction. we feel like it matters. and you all make us feel that same sense of community and appreciation. aw.
we love getting to see you around town while we’re out and about. stopping by other coffee shops (we’re fans - we don’t see others as competition, but cool kids into the same stuff we’re into!), grabbing meals or groceries… just doing errands and living life. it’s good to be around y’all.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
These two lil ladies were born while their moms Whittney and Gabby were ducks. We’ve gotten to watch them grow up (along with so many other ducklings!!!) and wow, it warms our hearts.
White Duck is a company full of strong women and great mothers. We witness (and feel) the care, the fire and the struggle - just some of the pieces that make moms incredible. It’s an honor to get to do life alongside all these baddies.
We wish YOU a happy Mother’s Day today. Whether your kids are here or gone, close or far, brilliant or bratty or both. Motherhood looks different on each mom, and carries different joys and weight.

Crème Brûlée
is a pretty cool couple words cause look at all those squiggles and squaggles on top of the letters. nifty!
but it’s also quite a fine latte flavor. iced. hot. or put it in a shake or a drip coffee. YOU HAVE OPTIONS.
the drinks don’t have that fun top crust when you order crème brûlée at those fancy dining establishments, but they DO taste really good. and sometimes that’s enough. more than enough.

Anyway, it’s all sorts of tropical flavors, tastes like the perfect Red Bull for beach day. Toes in the sand, Red Bull in hand. Wake up late, caffeinate. Ahhhh.

in school, there was a teacher named Mr P who gave a little talk to his classes every Friday. he taught for 36 years and then retired.
his weekend talk started “it’s the weekend, please be good. drive safe, and drive with people who drive safe…” and went on to encourage his students to enjoy themselves while being safe. we still think about that every time we hear “it’s the weekend…”
Mr P called students by their full name - first, middle, and last, to show he saw them and they mattered. he said “There’s an emotional cost that comes with caring. … But I believe it’s a privilege. On day 162 in year 36, I still believe it’s a privilege.”
he did that every day too - said which day of which year of teaching it was, and that it was a privilege.
the world moves fast these days. TikTok memes are already old and done by the time you see them rehashed as IG Reels. we’re instantly push notified of every bad thing in the world, and it can make it feel like it’s giving “everything is falling apart.”
but *we* don’t live as memes or trends. we live a through line through it all, finding it all entertaining but also finding a calmer sense of peace and belonging by being around people who know more than just the current us, who care for us not just cause we know (or are) the cool thing.
Mr P got that, and knew there’s a wearying-yet-rewarding effort to see and care for the ones you come in contact with. he had a Mr Rogers vibe with a bit of wit.
it can feel cheesy, to be wholesome, or care. but it’s maybe the biggest thing that matters. we’re all just existing at the same time, juggling our own set of struggles and dreams and wants and growth.
anyway, we try to exemplify that. we’re not perfect, and we’ll mess it up sometimes. but you matter to us, and we hope that comes through in the minute we chat each time we see each other.
Mr P, whatever you’re up to these days, it was a privilege to be in your classes.
